“We didn’t realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun.” – Author Unknown

October 30, 2014

In my head most of the day I have been singing “One Day More” from Les Miserables because tomorrow we depart the river cruise/bus trip we have been on for the past 13 days.   You know how it goes (edited).

One day more!
Another day, another long bus ride.
This never-ending road to Madrid;
These guides who seem to know my exhaustion
Will surely speak a second time.
One day more!

Tomorrow we’ll be far away,
Tomorrow is the fly home day.

In my head it was much funnier than on paper, oh well.  Enough with the bus rides and the historical information that I do not remember.  It was still magical.  Today we saw the city of Toledo, Spain.  It is known as the “city of the three cultures”, because Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together there for centuries.  It was very hilly and very beautiful.

Here in no specific order are pictures from our day in Toledo ( not Ohio) Spain.

I am sorry that our friend Loretta was not feeling well and she and Rich were not able to join us today for the trip or dinner at Sobrino de Botín tonight where we had a lovely meal and lots of laughter with ten of our merry group of twelve.
